Hydronic Specialities to Distribute Creatherm Radiant Floor Panels

Hydronic Specialities (HSC), has signed on to distribute CreathermTM and Brings Innovative Foam Building Technology to California and Northern Nevada.

Indianapolis, IN – February 2009 – CreathermTM is pleased to announce that HSC will be a distributor of the manufacturer’s foam building products. HSC will distribute the entire line of Radiant Floor Panels which are ideal for installing PEX hydronic tubing with considerable time savings.

The S45 floor panel is 2’ x 4’ x 2.8” thick and features a staggered snap-tight grid for optimal tubing spacing. On-center points exist every three inches. The S45 Floor Panel can support the installation of ½”, 5/8” or 3/4” PEX Tubing. This newer panel does not support installing tubing at 45 degree angles but offers greater “R” Value due to its thickness. This makes the product ideal for colder climates or new construction.

CreathermTM Radiant floor panels are now manufactured out of BASF Styropor® EPS. Styropor® an expandable polystyrene (EPS) was invented by BASF in 1952 and today is a classic among the raw materials employed for cost-effective construction, as well as efficient and reliable packaging.The most important properties of Styropor® EPS include: excellent thermal insulation capacity, high compressive strength, outstanding impact absorption, low weight, and flexible design capabilities. The foam panels are also quiet, resistant to insects and mold, and virtually allergen free.

Production Begins On New Creatherm T45 Radiant Floor Panel

Whitestown, IN – The third panel from Creatherm TM is ready for market and combines benefits of its first two radiant floor panels into one product.

The T45 Floor Panel is a one-inch thinner version of the S45 Floor Panel. The lower height profile makes the snap-tight grid ideal for over-pour or retro fit applications where a thicker panel cannot always be used.

The T45 Floor Panel is 2’ x 4’ x 1.8” thick and features a staggered snap-tight grid for optimal tubing spacing.

On-center points exist every three inches. The T45 Floor Panel can support the installation of 1/2”, 5/8” or 3/4” PEX Tubing.

The new panel will be manufactured at existing Creatherm production facilities as well as Aptco, LLC on the West Coast. Customers now have the ability to split orders between the S45 and T45 by bundle quantity.
